Kye Kye emerged from the former band "Paper Rings". After producing music for a few of years, yet finding themselves unfulfilled, they went on a year long quest of spiritual discovery. They came out of it with a new vision for God, and the band was rebirthed as "Kye Kye."

Soon afterwards, Kye Kye began writing for their album Young Love. It was produced, engineered, and mixed by Eric Owyoung (Future of Forestry) at his studio in Thousand Oaks, CA, and his influence is noticed all throughout this album. They toured with Future of Forestry for their 2010 advent Christmas Tour.
