While this remix record seems like a premature conceptualization - Shara Worden only has one solo album under the My Brightest Diamond name - it's hard to complain with treatments this tricked out and twisted.  Aside from avoiding the easy route of dropping decent drum breaks under an already astounding singer and letting the beat follow her around like a lost puppy dog, each producer also puts their own personal stamp on the songs.  That can mean anything, really: laptop love songs baked with glitchy beats and bumping breaks (Murcof's Dragonfly, Alias' Golden Star), club cuts that are so crazy they'll make you want to take off your shirt and swing it above your head (both versions of Freak Out - one by Gold Chains, another by DJ Kenny Mitchell), and orchestral pop that's brittle and debilitating (Stakka's Disappear). All the while, Worden's voice proves to be incredibly versatile, bringing more credibility to the Björk comparisons and making this album My Brightest Diamond's very own Telegram. - iTunes
